Participated in and co-authored the final report of the DISCO of the Future Forum, a consensus building effort to identify common ground among distribution utilities, energy suppliers, regulators, consumer advocates and others regarding the future roles of distribution utilities in restructured energy markets.
Authored study “New Efficiency Model”, analyzing potential approaches to encouraging distributed generation, for the Center for the Advancement of Energy Markets.
Authored study “New Environmental Model”, analyzing potential approaches to removing barriers to distributed generation, for the Center for the Advancement of Energy Markets.
Analyzed natural gas quality issues and their impacts on reciprocating engine operation for Newark Refrigerated Warehouse.
Developed proposals for federal co-funding for the demonstration of heat-actuated absorption refrigeration equipment in fully integrated energy systems in public refrigerated warehouses, for Newark Refrigerated Warehouse.
Performed technical editing on paper dealing with the application of distributed generation technology in public refrigerated warehouses, for Newark Refrigerated Warehouse.
Performed technical editing of the CoolTimes gas cooling, dehumidification and refrigeration newsletter, for the American Gas Cooling Center.
Taught comprehensive gas cooling Technology Transfer Workshops for the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago, on behalf of the American Gas Cooling Center.
Taught gas cooling section of Registered Commercial Gas Consultant (RCGC) program, for the Institute of Gas Technology.

Fire to Ice, Inc. is a Delaware corporation, founded in 1997 to provide energy consulting services to corporate clients.

 

FTI participates in the Center for the Study of Carbon and Energy Markets, the Distributed Energy Financial Group and the GLG Energy & Industrials Councils.
